So, today was aconsiderably more productive day and we had non stop teaching of new material.
The Chief was in today so we were able to hold negotiations with him and discuss the current state of affairs regarding our exam situation. We had given him time to prepare; we had done the same.
His stance was one which was firm but fair; which is what we had expected. We discussed the current situation in depth and he laid out the options that were available to the school. The Chief did most of the talking which left us the role of putting our thoughts forward at the right moments.
In the end, it turns out that we will have finished being taught the material the day before the exams and allowed an uncompromised 9 days to study for the external exams.
Not entirely the best situation, but nothing that we "Steely eyed, square jawed" cadets can't handle..
